Moped & Motorbike Owners – Stay Alert!

We’re asking those that own mopeds and motorbikes to be extra vigilant following some recent reports of moped and motorbike thefts across the city. 

The vast majority have been stolen from outside the owners’ address and in some cases, the bikes have been found damaged when recovered. 

Thieves only need a matter of seconds to steal a bike - especially if they are left with poor security. 

We advise to layer security by locking, chaining and covering your moped or motorbike. 

Anyone who sees anything suspicious should contact Norfolk Police on 101, online or call 999 if you believe a crime is in progress.
