Three men charged following affray on Bignold Road


Police investigating an affray in Norwich have charged three more men in connection the incident.

The incident occurred on Sunday 30 March at around 3pm on Bignold Road where a group of men were seen to be fighting. One of the men sustained injuries to his face, arms and legs.

Marshall Mutota, 18, of Appleyard Crescent, Norwich is charged with GBH with intent, affray, possession of an offensive weapon, possession of a bladed article in a public place, possession of a controlled drug of class B (cannabis) and assault with intent to resist apprehension.

Kingsley Reid-Flemming, 19, of William Kett Close, Norwich is charged with GBH with intent, affray, having an offensive weapon in public and possession of a controlled class B drug (cannabis).

They both appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Monday (21 April) where they were remanded into custody to appear at Norwich Crown Court on 19 May 2025.

Harvey Hulme, 20, of Chambers Road, Norwich was charged with wounding with intent, affray, possession of a controlled class B drug (cannabis) and possession of a class of class C drug (nitrous oxide).

He was due to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court this morning (Wednesday 23 April).

Police had already charged one man in connection with the incident.

On 5 April Brandon Rodney-Lawrence, 29, of Lovelace Street, London was charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place.
